Healthy Easter Chocolate Bar

If you love chocolate, but aren't so keen on all of the sugar and not so healthy ingredients that come with it, then you will love this recipe! It's super easy to make and sets in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Cacao butter chunks

1/2 cup Organic coconut oil

3-5 tbs Agave nectar (maple syrup is also a good option)

1/2 cup Unsweetened raw cacao powder

4 tbs Puresque marine collagen

1 tsp Vanilla extract

Pinch of salt to taste

Optional ingredients (can be replaced with any other nuts, seeds or dried fruit)

1/2 cup whole/chopped macadamias

1/2 cup Cacao nibs (for an extra crunch)

Handful of Goji berries

Handful of Dried rose petals

Instructions

Line a small (approx 12x6 cm) container or tray with baking paper.

Take a small saucepan and add a cup of water. Bring water to the boil. Place a metal bowl over boiling water so that the bowl heats up from the steam. Place cacao butter and coconut oil into bowl and stir until liquified.

Remove from heat and add Agave nectar, vanilla extract, salt, cacao powder and Puresque marine collagen. Whisk rapidly until smooth and creamy. We recommend an electric whisk for around 2 minutes.

Once smooth, add cacao nibs and macadamias (or other nuts of choice) to the mix and stir through.

Pour mixture into your container and sprinkle garnish on top. We used Goji berries and dried rose petals. You can get as creative as you like with this part :)

Place in Freezer for approximately 30 minutes to an hour or until set. Once set, it is ready to eat. Chop and serve as you please.
